Express Yourself!

Sometimes, all you need to feel better is to let it out! And sometimes, talking just doesn't cut it. Maybe that's because what you're dealing with is primordial. Emotions don't always come with words. And when I find myself dealing with emotions in their purest form--wordless--I need a means other than talking to help me process and express them. I've used art in its various forms since high school to support this need. Doing so came so naturally to me, I never thought other folks might find it supportive too. That is, until one of my mentors suggested I start teaching art classes through a Life Coaching lens last year. I leaned into the idea and immediately started pitching workshops throughout Charlotte, NC. So far, I've taught Mosaics for Perfectionists, Abstract Collage for Inner Peace, and Be Your Own Best Friend Journal Making in person throughout the Queen City.


What makes these workshops special is that in addition to art-making, you're taking the course in community with other creative and like-minded people. Together, you're guided through a process of self-reflection and exploration to help you create pieces that truly support you beyond the aesthetics through to your core. So if you find yourself searching for words, consider the possibility that maybe, right now, there aren't any...
